Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, production, or related operations.
• Minimum 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience leading hourly production staff.
• Strong coaching, development, and performance management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 15–30 hourly assembly employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate staffing and production resources to meet schedule requirements and customer demand.
• Coach, develop, and mentor employees to improve performance and engagement.
• Hold employees accountable to safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and company expectations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one conversations, provide performance feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance concerns.
• Ensure employees receive proper training and are equipped to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
• Partner with Team Leads to identify and resolve production issues while maintaining workflow and productivity.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve operational performance.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Communicate effectively with employees, peers, managers, and senior leaders to align priorities and results.
• Support 5S, housekeeping, safety initiatives, quality systems, and standard work practices.
• Utilize tiered accountability processes to elevate issues and drive timely resolutions.
