Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Danbury, CT is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead shop activities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure quality during assembly and testing of equipment.

You will oversee procurement, interface with suppliers, supervise safety training, and drive continuous improvement while traveling infrequently to support production.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience, strong reading of mechanical and electrical drawings, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years related experience.
• Ability to read/interpret mechanical assembly drawings, part drawings, layouts, etc
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical assembly
• Equipment functional testing experience (mechanical/hydraulic/ load test)
• Ability to prioritize competing needs in dynamic environment
• Ability to read/interpret electrical assembly drawings, schematics, part drawings, layouts
• Knowledge and experience in electrical assembly
• Familiarity with welding
• Familiarity with part finishing (paint/ anodize/passive/ electropolish)
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to achieve level II QC inspector qualification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all the shop activities

• Inspection and testing activities
• Troubleshoot issues during production
• Procurement activities
• Support engineering/design with production related input
