Job summary

OMNI STAFFING is seeking an Assembly Supervisor in Burbank, CA to lead high-volume aerospace manufacturing of high‑pressure ducting systems. The role requires hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced shop, ensuring safety, quality, and on‑time production.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in manufacturing, experience supervising 25+ employees, lean/CI training, and proficiency with MAPICS and MS Office. Union environment experience is required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace manufacturing preferred)
• Experience managing 25+ employees
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
• Track record of progressively responsible roles within production operations
• Lean / Continuous Improvement trained
• Experience using metrics-driven business analysis
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, machinery, and production techniques (including heat treatment and metal processing)
• Working knowledge of shop mathematics (algebra, geometry, proportions, percentages, area/volume calculations)
• Proficiency with MAPICS manufacturing software, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Union manufacturing environment experience required
