**Job Title:**Assembly Set Up & OPERATOR**Shift: 1st Shift******Job Summary:Perform blanking, piercing, trimming or notching operations on punch press equipment were set-ups have been made by others, visually checking work during run for burrs, broken punches, etc., working from shop orders and check work against sample part or template and use fixed gauges. May assist with moving material, parts or containers. Engage safety devices before starting press, notifying set-up person regarding difficulties with dies or malfunction of equipment. May operate other equipment in the department as directed. Follow prescribed safety practices, using all safety devices furnished. Perform other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:Duties require frequent physical and mental/visual activity.Obtain and check specifications and other detailed information for each job.Perform tasks required properly and running machines including operating controls and monitoring conditions.**Requirements:**Use of ordinary arithmetic, decimals, fractions.Work from drawings, shop orders, samples.Use micrometer, scale, fixed gauges.Equivalent to high school plus some training.Experience of 2 and up to 3 months to become familiar with al1.
