PwrQ Holdings LLC in Hanover, MD seeks a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee assembly, wiring, and test teams. You will manage daily schedules, staffing, and quality to meet ship dates while coaching team leads and enforcing safety standards.

Responsibilities include tracking KPIs, coordinating with Materials, Engineering, and Quality to resolve shortages, and driving continuous improvement on the factory floor.

Qualificações

• 5–8 years in electrical/electromechanical or panel/switchgear assembly with 2–3 years in supervision.
• High school diploma or GED; a technical degree, electrical trade certification, or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record managing a team of 15 to 30+ production employees across multiple shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Run the daily production schedule for assembly, wiring, and test to hit ship dates.
• Hold daily or weekly production meetings with team leads to review progress, shortages, and blockers.
• Track labor hours, first-pass yield, rework rate, and on-time ship percentage for the department; report these up weekly.
• Approve overtime and manage headcount, including coordinating with HR on hiring, onboarding, and discipline.
• Resolve material shortages and quality holds with Materials, Engineering, and Quality so builds don't stall.
• Enforce safety procedures (lockout/tagout, PPE, lifting practices) and lead incident investigations within the department.
• Review and approve timecards, PTO requests, and shift assignments.
• Coach and develop team leads; handle performance reviews for direct reports.
• Drive continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks, reduce rework, and implement process changes on the floor.
• Escalate design, drawing, or spec problems to Engineering, and customer-facing issues to the Senior Production Manager or Sales.
• Able to solve problems using RCA and 3C's.

Description

Role summary. Owns day-to-day output of the assembly, wiring, and test teams. Reports to the Senior Production Manager or Plant Manager. The team leads for Assembly, Wiring, and Test report to this role.

• • Hold daily or weekly production meetings with team leads to review progress, shortages, and blockers
• • Track labor hours, first-pass yield, rework rate, and on-time ship percentage for the department; report these up weekly
• • Approve overtime and manage headcount, including coordinating with HR on hiring, onboarding, and discipline

Requirements:

Skills

• • Reads mechanical and electrical assembly drawings, wire lists, and schematics
• • Working knowledge of switchgear construction standards (UL 891, UL508A, UL50, etc.) and safety codes (NFPA 70E)
• • Production scheduling and capacity planning
• • Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems for work orders, labor tracking, and inventory
• • Strong people management: coaching, conflict resolution, performance management
• • Data-driven: tracks KPIs and uses them to make staffing and process decisions
• • Clear verbal and written communication across shifts and departments

Requirements

• • 5 to 8 years in electrical, electromechanical, or panel/switchgear assembly, including at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• • High school diploma or GED required; a technical degree, electrical trade certification, or equivalent experience is a plus
• • Demonstrated track record managing a team of 15 to 30+ production employees across multiple shifts or stations
• • OSHA 10 or 30 safety training
• • Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods (5S, kaizen) preferred
