Job summary

TE Connectivity in Landisville, PA is seeking an extrusion operator responsible for setting up and running the extrusion line and performing quality checks to ensure materials meet specifications. You will coordinate daily with Planning/Scheduling to forecast downstream needs and work with Maintenance and Engineering to address equipment issues.

The role requires hands-on shop skills, familiarity with inspection equipment and hand tools, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine set-up is highly preferred.
• Basic machine shop knowledge and ability is preferred but not required.
• Ability to utilize inspection equipment to measure products for conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools
• Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to lift/push/pull and carry a minimum weight of 30 lbs.
• Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
• Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.00-$20.00/Hour + 10% Shift Differential for working 2nd Shift. (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
