Job summary

Ideal Tridon in Smyrna, TN is seeking an Assembly Operator on 1st and 2nd Shift to join our manufacturing team. This role performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools and supports the production of our worm gear, clamps, and related fittings.

The position offers Monday–Friday shifts with 7:00am–3:30pm for 1st and 3:00pm–11:30pm for 2nd, an hourly wage of $19.00 plus a $1.00 shift differential for the second shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good dexterity to handle small parts.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. on regular basis.
• Ability to remain in standing position more than 95% of working hours.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

Responsibilities

• Performs repetitive and standardized assembly operations using assembly tools.
• Checks quality of parts visually and by the use of calipers as required by work order.
• Records production parts produced on appropriate production card.
• Reports any problems to the Production Team Lead.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
