Job summary

Ideal Tridon, a leader in clamps and supporting components, is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift at Wesanco in Smyrna, TN. You will deliver parts to assembly stations, operate a forklift when trained, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This role requires 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience (counterbalance training possible), strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy, and basic computer skills.

We are seeking a Material Handler on 1st shift to join our team at Wesanco!

Schedule and Shift:

• 1st 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Hourly Pay Rate $20.00:

Work Schedule: **Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary**

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver parts to and from assembly stations & in-process storage.
• Operate a counter balance forklift will be a requirement once trained.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Process orders accurately using RF scanners & shipping software.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience of counter balance forklift would be outstanding! If not, 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience and willingness to train isMANDATORY to learn counterbalance forklift.
• Minimum 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Loading flatbeds with the correct product and adhering to the truck driver's guidelines.
• Checking product thoroughly to make sure the correct product and amount is being picked before loading or restocking in the warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail & inventory accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to50lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
