Job summary

Ideal Tridon in Smyrna, TN is seeking Stacking Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift to join its manufacturing team. You will set up and operate bagging/boxing-related equipment, perform quality checks, and support warehousing of finished goods in a non-climate-controlled plant.

The position offers hourly pay of $20.00 with $1.00 shift differential on 2nd shift and $1.50 on 3rd shift, with overtime possible and a requirement to follow safety protocols and work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred and will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, lifts, and moves materials.
• Performs quality inspections and checks.
• Operates power forklift.
• Warehouses/stores finished goods safely and accurately.
• Assists with other manual labor tasks as needed.

Education

We are seeking Stacking Operators for 2nd and 3rd Shift to join our team at Wesanco in Smyrna TN.

Schedule and Shift:

2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday

3rd 11:00pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday

Hourly Pay Rate:

$20.00

$1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

$1.50 shift differential for 3rd shift

Position Summary:

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting that may include dust and debris and can be loud at times. Perform various tasks involved in bagging/ boxing operation including but not limited to setting up and operating bagging machines, handling parts and materials, packing parts and other related activities usinghand tools, various type of packing materials. must follow all applicable safety procedures to avoid injuries including requests for help from co-workers. Proper handling of finished parts and products to avoid injuries or damage, follow all operational instructions when operating or using tools and equipment. Provide quality checks as determined.

Job may require overtime and a flexible schedule, reporting early and working late, including weekends.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Responsibly for quality inspection
• Will operator power forklift
• Responsibility for correctly warehousing/ storing finished goods
• Assists with any other manual labor tasks as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Education and Experience:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained, and certified on the hi-lo.
• (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
