Job summary

LECO is seeking an Assembly Operator B to build small and repetitive assemblies in the department. This role requires following work instructions, verifying parts, and meeting scheduled production timelines.

The position requires reading blueprints or process sheets, using hand, air and power tools, and completing soldering techniques training. You should be able to work independently and adhere to all safety and quality rules.

Qualifications

• Able to read a ruler and/or tape measure.
• Soldering techniques course and department skills training completed.
• Ability to use hand, air and power tools.
• Able to work from blueprints, process sheets or other work instructions.
• Able to work independently.
• Comply with all department and company rules.
• Some basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Make sure they have the correct parts for the assemblies they build, as specified on the work instructions.
• Complete schedule assemblies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stop production, take corrective action or involve the appropriate people to correct any conditions found to contribute to poor quality.
• Perform testing of selective assemblies prior to next operation.

Position Summary
The Assembly Operator B will be required to build small and/or repetitive assemblies in the department. This person must have good work habits and get along with co-workers.

• Make sure they have the correct parts for the assemblies they build, as specified on the work instructions
• Complete schedule assemblies in a timely and efficient manner
• Stop production, take corrective action or involve the appropriate people to correct any conditions found to contribute to poor quality
• Perform testing of selective assemblies prior to next operation
