Job summary

SNI Companies in Milford, CT is seeking an Assembly Operator to support production on the 1st shift. The role involves following work instructions, using hand and power tools, and assembling components to meet quality standards.

Scheduled Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, onsite position with a starting pay of $17.50 per hour. A high school diploma and good teamwork are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations following work instructions, production schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and assembly equipment to build products accurately.
• Inspect parts, components, and finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor the assembly process and report issues, or equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area while following 5S and Lean principles.
• Follow production schedules and meet assigned quotas while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Assist with troubleshooting minor assembly issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials consistent with site safety requirements.
• Willingness to follow all safety, housekeeping, 5S, Lean, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, or assembly equipment is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift consistently.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and basic production documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
