Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT seeks a Team Leader, Assembly Operations to oversee and mentor the assembly team. You will manage manpower, scheduling, and adherence to quality and process controls in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires supervisory experience in assembly/manufacturing and a focus on continuous improvement, cost control, and safe operations. Shift: 1st; Salaried pay range provided.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing/assembly setting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Comfort with common office software for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower needs and fill deficiencies with supervisor input.
• Monitor production process and ensure work orders and takt times are met.
• Coordinate with other groups to optimize workflow and loading.
• Contribute to cost control and budgeting efforts for programs.
• Prepare quotes and estimates for production needs.
• Lead process improvement and lean initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are followed.
