Job summary

JCB in Pooler, GA seeks an Operations Manager - Assembly to lead all assembly manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of world-class equipment. You will drive SQDCM goals with production teams and cross-functional partners.

You will develop manufacturing strategies, manage capacity growth, champion lean methods, and foster a high‑performance culture with accountability and continuous improvement. This role is on-site and requires 2nd shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, operations management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership in high-volume environments.
• 5+ years leading supervisors, managers, and large production teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational expenditures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all assembly operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SQDCM) objectives.
• Ensure production schedules meet quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth, capacity, and product introductions.
• Monitor daily performance and implement corrective actions for efficiency and capacity.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Manufacturing Engineering.
