Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling seeks a Production Manager with a strong assembly operations background to lead our manufacturing team in Washington, DC. You will drive efficiency, quality and safety, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma to optimize processes and lead cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing management, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with SYSPRO for scheduling and analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in manufacturing management with a focus on assembly.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing techniques and 5S.
• Proven ability to manage production scheduling and workforce.
• Strong data analysis skills and use of Excel for reporting.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering and quality.
• Demonstrated Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental policies in plant settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily assembly operations to meet targets with quality and safety focus.
• Implement lean practices to reduce waste and improve process efficiency.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and lean methods.
• Manage production planning and scheduling aligned with demand and capacity.
• Monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, safety, and costs; take corrective actions.
• Communicate across departments to align on goals and operational changes.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
