Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT seeks a Group Leader Assembly Operations to supervise the manufacturing assembly team under the Team Leader. You will oversee production scheduling, tooling maintenance and ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires 3 years of related experience and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, with a focus on lean practices and continuous improvement. 100% on-site shift; compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of manufacturing methods, techniques and processes.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Use basic math with drawings, specifications, charts, and measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills: word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and supervise functions in Manufacturing Operations Group to meet quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Perform assembly and test operations, oversee workmanship and ensure takt time.
• Manage program budgets, cost to complete, and comply with quality systems.
