Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT, is hiring a Team Leader, Assembly Operations to supervise an assembly team, monitor performance and ensure quality compliance.

The ideal candidate has a supervisory background in general assembly or manufacturing; responsibilities include manpower planning, scheduling, cost control, and driving continuous improvement. Shift: 1st shift, 6:30a-3:00p; Salary range: $95,176-$152,282. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of manufacturing methods and processes.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Moderate physical demand, lifting up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower needs and fill deficiencies with supervisor guidance.
• Monitor production processes to meet work orders and takt times.
• Coordinate with other groups to optimize workflow and loading.
• Support budgets, quality issues, and corrective actions.
• Lead performance reviews and develop cross-trained staff.
