Job summary

Superior Industries seeks motivated individuals for night shift assembly in Morris, MN. The team will assemble and test equipment, following blueprints and shop paperwork to ensure quality before shipment.

Night shift runs 4:00pm–4:00am Mon–Thu, with a 3-day weekend each week. Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, plus a $3 per hour shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401K with 5% match, boot reimbursement, and spot bonuses.

Qualifications

• Mechanical ability is helpful.
• Ability to identify basic tools.
• Able to read blueprints with attention to detail.
• Able to read 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32” graduations on a tape measure and convert between feet and inches.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles accurately.
• Utilize shop paperwork for efficient machine assembly.
• Install purchased parts and sub-assemblies, including drive and pulleys, as per specifications.
• Safely operate equipment such as Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, Cutting Torch, forklift and cranes.
• Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping the floor and keeping it free of steel and tools.

Compensation:

The starting pay range for this position is $20 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location. Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles accurately

• Safely operate equipment such as Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, Cutting Torch, etc., and operate forklift and overhead cranes following safety protocols
• Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping the floor and keeping it free of steel and tools
