Job summary

Superior Industries is seeking skilled welders for night shift in Morris, MN. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and weld to 1G standards during a 4:00pm–4:00am shift, Monday to Thursday, with a 3-day weekend.

Base pay ranges from $21–$26 hourly, plus a $3 differential on night shifts. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO/holidays, 401(k) with 5% match, boot and helmet reimbursements, and spot bonuses.

Qualifications

• Certified welding to 1G standards required.
• Proficient blueprint interpretation and precise measurement.
• Able to safely operate cranes, forklifts, and welding equipment.
• Comfortable adapting to changes in processes and products.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, prepare weld surfaces and weld to 1G standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ironworker, band saw, drill press and related tools.
• Use tape measures and convert units accurately and document measurements.
• Safely operate forklifts and jib cranes per safety procedures and certifications.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules with reliable attendance.

Night Shift:

4:00pm - 4:00am Monday through Thursday (Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend every week!)

Compensation:

The starting pay range for this position is $21 - $26 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential.

Key Responsibilities

• Blueprints & Welding - Read and interpret blueprints, prepare weld surfaces, and perform welding to 1G certification standards.
• Equipment Operation - Set up and operate welding equipment, ironworker, band saw, drill press, and other tools safely, ensuring weld quality and appearance meet standards.
• Precision Measuring - Accurately use tape measures (1/8" 1/16" 1/32"), convert units, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Safe Material Handling - Operate forklifts and jib cranes following all safety procedures and maintaining necessary certifications.
• Teamwork & Reliability - Work collaboratively to meet production schedules with excellent attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
