Qualifications

• Ability to assemble various products per job instructions, blueprints, and or direction of lead/manager.
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes, hydraulics, and electrical is a plus.
• Adherence to all health and safety rules and maintaining good housekeeping and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Gather appropriate parts for each shop order.
• Assemble parts and weldments, and perform quality checks.
• Maintain tools and practice 5S activities at the end of the shift.

Job description

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and “Keeping America’s Roads Safe!” Night Shift - 3:30pm to 1:30am, 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

How you will contribute

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for gathering the appropriate parts for each shop order, assembling parts and weldments, and performing quality checks to ensure quality final assemblies are being shipped to our end customers. Assemblers are responsible for equipment, tools, and minor maintenance, including proper tool storage and 5S activities at the end of shift.

What This Role Needs

• Ability to assemble various products per job instructions, blueprints, and or direction of lead/manager
• Hand dexterity, working knowledge of hand tools, knowledge of basic shop match and ability to read a tape measure
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes, hydraulics, and electrical a plus
• Adherence to all health and safety rules and maintaining good housekeeping and 5S

Working Conditions

• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
