• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance.
• Customer service principles for providing high-quality service to internal customers.

• Ability to train and motivate employees to perform at their best.
• Understanding of production processes, quality control, and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate schedules, sequences, and assignments based on work priority and personnel skills.
• Patrol and monitor work areas and inspect tools and equipment to detect unsafe conditions or violations of procedures.
• Assign employees to tasks based on skills, knowledge, abilities and training.
• Train employees on tasks, procedures and equipment.
• Examine objects, systems, or facilities and inform management of necessary installations, services, or repairs.
• Provide leadership to employees by developing their skills and troubleshooting.
