Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of budget experience or demonstrated ability to manage budgets

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent familiarity with general assembly operations

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production and test of valves, pressure switches, and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain production schedules and customer service for all products
  • Coordinate operation of Assembly bays and ensure on-time service
  • Coordinate Assembly Engineering department and implement improvement projects
  • Provide training and guidance to assigned personnel
  • Identify and implement equipment and tooling improvements for safety and efficiency
  • Create short- and long-term improvement plans
  • Perform tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision
  • Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company policies

If you are a Manufacturing Supervisor professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this is an exciting opportunity to lead assembly operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee the production and testing of valves, pressure switches, and related assemblies while supporting safety, quality, delivery, continuous improvement, and employee development. You will collaborate across functions to optimize operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and help drive business results through innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for the production and test of all valves, pressure switch, and sub-assemblies assigned.
  • Be able to read and interpret all procedures and explain during training exercises.
  • Be able to understand Company Policy using ASCO’s handbook and to provide guidance in the administration of corrective action and discipline if needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining production schedules and customer service for all products manufactured.
  • Coordinates operation of Assembly bays. Responsible for maintaining on-time service.
  • Responsible for and maintains inventory and inventory accuracy on the production floor POU components.
  • Coordinates Assembly Engineering department.
  • Recommends and implement projects, improvements, and long-range planning.
  • Hold communications meetings with employees per Communications Meeting Plan (Aiken)
  • Safety is an integral part of each employee’s responsibility. Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
  • Provide training and assistance to all assigned personnel both salary and hourly.
  • Support equipment check list as it pertains to safety and performance. Identify worn tooling and fixturing. Be able to identify and suggest equipment improvements from both the efficiency and safety perspectives.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
  • Accomplish/perform work assignments from beginning to end with no supervision.
  • Create short- and long-term improvement plans.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A bachelor’s degree in anEngineering field preferred or a related field of study plus five years’ experience in a manufacturing or technical service environment
  • Minimum one-year budget experience or demonstrated ability to learn and manage these responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively with customers, suppliers and employees as in NCMR’s, ECN’s and ECR’s
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment
  • Excellent familiarity with general assembly operations
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Familiarity with both Navy/Nuclear and Commercial Valve assembly
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Kronos
  • 5 years minimum managerial experience
