Job summary

Emerson is seeking a production-focused team member to support manufacturing operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to stand for long periods, and a mechanical mindset with comfort reading technical specs.

You will handle precision measurement tools, perform shop math, and help maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor. Responsibilities include maintaining 5S aligned work areas, operating CNC machinery such as mills, lathes, or grinders, and performing

  • Mechanical attitude (demonstrated through interest or experience in areas such as automotive, construction, computers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
  • Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.
  • Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
