Job Description

Great Job Opportunity for a Production Operator

We have an opening for a Production Operator at our PVC manufacturing facility in Burlington, NJ. We offer great benefits and time off.

Shift Details: Second Shift – 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Employment Type: Full-Time with required overtime. All hours over 40 are paid at time and half, with double-time for working more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period.

Compensation: Shift Differential of $1.20/hr. for second shift; $1.35/hr. for third shift.

Salary:

• New Hire Rate: $21.00/hr
• Qualified Rate: $22.00/hr
• 12 Month Rate: $24.00/hr
• 24 Month Rate: $28.68/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist co-workers in starting line production and sustain continuous mill operation.
• Control line operation from the dicer through packaging and preparing finished products for storage.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years’ manufacturing experience preferred; compound experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with mathematical numbers.
• Capable of working independently and making decisions on quality inspections.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of machinery mechanics and use of scales.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to promote teamwork.

Physical Demands:

• Lift up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, standing, and walking.
• Read production schedules and record data legibly.
