Great Job Opportunity for a Production Operator

We have an opening for a Production Operator at our PVC manufacturing facility in Burlington, NJ. We offer great benefits and time off.

Shift Details:

• Second Shift – 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Full-Time With Required Overtime
• Overtime earning potential: hours over 40 paid at time and half; double-time premium for working more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period.
• Shift Differential of $1.20/hr. for second shift and $1.35/hr. if filling in for third shift.

Salary:

• New Hire Rate: $21.00/hr.
• Qualified Rate: $22.00/hr.
• 12 Month Rate: $24.00/hr.
• 24 Month Rate: $28.68/hr.

Job Summary:

The Production Operator assists co-workers in starting line production and is responsible for sustaining continuous mill operation, controlling line operation from the dicer through packaging, and preparing finished products for storage.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years’ manufacturing experience preferred, compound experience a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work with mathematical numbers
• Ability to work independently and perform quality inspections
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Understanding mechanics of machinery and use of scales
• Critical thinking skills
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Teamwork promotion

Physical Demands:

• Lift up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, standing, walking
• Read production schedules and record data legibly
