Job Summary

Specialize in remodeling and updating bathrooms in residential or commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Remove old fixtures, tiles, and other bathroom components.
• Install new bathroom fixtures, such as bathtubs, showers, toilets, sinks, and cabinets, as well as bathroom accessories (toilet paper holder, towel rack, mirror, vanity).
• Perform carpentry, tiling, and painting tasks as necessary.
• Use a variety of tools to cut tiles, including tile scribes, wet saws, and handheld tile cutters.
• Calculate the amount of tiles and adhesive needed for specific areas.
• Cut tiles to specific sizes or shapes with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools.
• Prepare surfaces by leveling off with plaster, sand, or cement.
• Decorate and protect floors and walls using various tiles (ceramic, clay, slate, marble, glass).
• Fix tiles and apply grout, finishing the task.
• Laying intricate mosaic tiles.
