# Assembly Line Technician (393)Hot JobPA - Bethlehem, PA 18020## OverviewPosition TypeFull TimeJob ShiftDayEducation LevelHigh School/GEDTravel PercentageNone## Description**Job Purpose:** The Assembly Line Technician at HAWE NORTH AMERICA INC is responsible for the precise assembly and testing of hydraulic products, including PSx valves, CWx valves, cylinders, cartridge valves, and manifolds. This role requires a strong mechanical and hydraulic understanding, as well as basic electronic skills to ensure products meet quality standards and function correctly. **Key Responsibilities:*** Assemble and test hydraulic products such as PSx valves, CWx valves, cylinders, cartridge valves, and manifolds accurately according to blueprints and work instructions.* Perform assembly and testing of products with CAN actuation.* Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and performance.* Utilize Windows-based computer skills and the MS Office package to document assembly and testing processes.* Apply mechanical and hydraulic understanding to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for assembly and testing processes* Engraving new model code plates for newly assembled and/or repaired components.* Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)* Responsible for the cleanliness and order of the assembly test areas.* Operate all machinery in a safe and compliant manner.* Minimal travel required to customer sites/ and/or for corporate learning.**Work Environment/ General Physical Requirements:*** Exposure to oil and cleaning solvents* Exposure to noise* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.* Ability to read small print## Qualifications**Required Education:*** High school diploma or GED**Required Experience:*** Experience in assembling and testing hydraulic products such as PSx valves, CWx valves, cylinders, cartridge valves, and manifolds.* Familiarity with assembling and testing products with CAN actuation.* Experience in supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.**Required Skills and Abilities:*** Ability to read and understand work instructions and apply them effectively to production and testing processes.* Proficiency in Windows-based computer skills and the MS Office package.* Distinct mechanical understanding and ability to work with mechanical systems.* Good hydraulic understanding, including the ability to work with hydraulic components.* Basic electronic understanding to support product assembly and testing.* Must be a self-starter with determination to produce quality products with good problem-solving, reasoning and organizational skills.
