Baxters North America, Inc. is seeking a Line Associate – Assembly in East Bernstadt, KY. You will work under the Production Supervisor in the Manufacturing department, assembling products, inspecting quality, and preparing items for sealing and packaging.

The role requires basic education and the ability to read simple words and perform basic arithmetic. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with standard production line duties and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math and counting in the context of money, weights, volumes, and distances.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct product names, codes, and dates; place on current menu.
• Assist in on-line visual inspection to prevent defects.
• Inspect for leaks and broken packages; ensure components are ready for assembly.
