Job summary

Laitram Machine Shop is seeking an Assembly Finisher to deburr, clean, and assist in assembling parts to meet customer drawings and quality standards. The role supports multiple shop areas and requires teamwork and strict adherence to safety and attendance policies.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Kronos/Oracle and basic MS Word/Excel is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist/complete assembly in accordance to customer and drawing requirements.
• Assist in modification of molded sprockets using dedicated equipment.
• Meets or exceed production time standards while exceeding customer expectations.
• Work a flexible schedule as needed to meet customer demand.
• Follow the attendance policy outlined for department.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Complete error free transaction in Kronos/Oracle.
• Recommend/complete routing updates with work instructions and production standards.
• Assist in various area's in the shop as customer demand requires

This individual will be involved with the machining of a variety of materials to produce parts that meet dimensional and workmanship standards per Laitram Machine Shop's Quality Management System.
