Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Manufacturing associate to set up and operate department equipment, assemble and disassemble gear, and ensure GMP-compliant food production. You will manage raw materials, calculate daily needs, and forecast inventory while communicating production needs to support areas.

You must perform paperwork accurately and be ready for varied shifts. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable attendance in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits and good GMP practices.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently and push heavy loads.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
• Must have strong communication and follow detailed instructions.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating all equipment in the department.
• Assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Practicing GMPs to ensure food safe products are manufactured.
• Gathering, prepping, and weighing raw materials.
• Calculating daily production needs and forecasting material inventory.
• Providing timely communication to other areas about production needs.
• Completing paperwork accurately and performing other duties as assigned.
