Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Production Manager to lead the Assembly and Calibration Teams and drive on-time delivery, quality, and safety.

You will balance schedules with planning, manage resources, and respond to changing customer priorities while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will collaborate with Planning, Inside Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to align objectives and execute against business goals, using KPIs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or technical production.
Strong ERP/MRP experience and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of Assembly and Calibration Teams to meet customer commitments.
Align manufacturing schedules with Production Planning and customer demand.
Collaborate with Inside Sales and Customer Service on delivery commitments.
Communicate schedule risks and delays to stakeholders.
Monitor workflow, labor utilization, capacity, and output.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, calibration standards, and procedures.
Maintain EH&S compliance across Production Operations.
Use KPIs to improve performance and on-time delivery.
