Curtiss-Wright EMS - Target Rock in New York is seeking an Assembly and Test Technician to perform mechanical assembly and testing across valve and actuator lines for Defense or Commercial Nuclear applications. You will turn kits into final products and rotate through multiple cells in a controlled environment.
The role requires reading technical drawings, attention to quality and safety, and collaboration with supervision and engineering to optimize operations.
We are looking for an Assembly and Test Technician to join our Target Rock team!
As our Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide array of mechanical assembly and product testing across the Target Rock valve and actuator product lines. The Assembly and Test Technician will take a kit of components and turn it into a final product where the end use is in Defense or Commercial Nuclear applications. The Target Rock Assembly & Test department consists of approximately 50+ employees and performs critical assembly and final product acceptance testing in a low volume, high mix environmentally controlled production facility consisting of 6 different assembly & test cells. The Assembly and Test Technicians work individually and in small teams depending on the size and complexity of the product, and have opportunities for growth and advancement by rotating through the different cells in the department.
hourly rate: $27.82
