Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc. is seeking an Assembly 2nd Shift worker in Monroe, WI. You will assemble metal products at a bench or on the shop floor, following assembly prints and bills of material. You will use various fasteners and tools to complete assemblies and report any issues to the department lead.

Basic reading of blueprints and a tape measure are required, along with the ability to perform simple math. The role includes benefit options and a path for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Perform basic math for assembling parts.

Responsibilities

• Assembles metal products, partially or completely, at bench or shop floor.
• Gathers materials and parts per assembly docs or verbal instruction.
• Fastens parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operates pneumatic, electrical, and manual tools.
• Flag issues with product or equipment to lead.

Assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpretassembly prints and bills of material.
• Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
• Reports any issues with product or equipment to the department lead.

Qualification

• Read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Perform basic math.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
• Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
