Position Title: Assembly Wage: $19.10/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Manufacturing Assembly Technician to assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and outdoor power products in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly, product testing, quality inspections, troubleshooting, and meeting daily production goals. Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing, production assembly, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or equipment manufacturing.

Assembly Responsibilities
- Assemble power washers, portable generators, lawn equipment, and outdoor power products according to engineering specifications
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly using hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Verify materials, components, and parts prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and product quality
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Conduct functional testing, visual inspections, and performance checks to verify product reliability and compliance
- Identify defects, non-conforming materials, and assembly issues and take corrective action as needed
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed daily production goals, quality standards, and efficiency targets
- Follow standardized work instructions to ensure consistency and productivity
- Adapt to changing production schedules and customer demands
- Cross-train across multiple assembly lines and manufacturing departments to support operational needs
- Follow OSHA regulations, manufacturing safety procedures, and PPE requirements
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and proactively identify workplace hazards
- Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees on assembly processes, quality standards, and workplace safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Assembly Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, fabrication, or industrial environments preferred
- Experience with mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electromechanical assembly highly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, move, and position product components as required
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards
