Job summary

Carr Lane Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Production Operator for our Assembly Team in St. Louis, MO. This entry-level role focuses on assembling and packaging parts, following work instructions, and learning the assembly process.

The position runs 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, quality, and safety in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions, strong time management.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of equipment, tools and the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of a variety of parts and components, using different tools.
• Use light machinery to bag and label parts and components or etch parts.
• Work as part of a team; following directions. Interpret work instructions, follow blueprints.
• Check part functionality when needed.

Position Overview

Required:

• Basic technical knowledge of the equipment, tools and the assembly process

• Ability to read, write and understand English
