Job summary

EZG Manufacturing in Ohio is seeking an assembler to ensure parts are properly assembled to high quality standards. You will follow work instructions, work both independently and with teammates, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires performing quality checks, adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines, reporting defects, maintaining a clean workspace, and rotating through stations as needed. PPE and safety rules are essential.

• No degree required; manufacturing/assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols throughout the assembly process.
• Identify and report defective materials or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Package and label finished products for shipment.

Primary Purpose

The assembler will be responsible for ensuring that parts and components are properly assembled to the highest quality standard. The assembler follows work instructions and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform quality checks and inspect finished assemblies for defects, ensuring products meet specifications and tolerances
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols throughout the assembly process
• Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S or similar standards
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Package and label finished products for shipment or the next stage of production
• Rotate through different stations or tasks as production needs require
• Adhere to PPE requirements and all workplace safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
