Job summary

EZG Manufacturing in Malta Township, OH is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Welder to fabricate, weld, and assemble metal structures for diverse projects. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and ensure precision in every weld.

You will join a fast-paced, safety-minded team that uses MIG and TIG welding, sets up machines, performs quality checks, and follows all protocols to deliver high-quality equipment for multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 5 years of welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Experience welding in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to quickly adjust machine controls with precision.

As a Contract Manufacturing Welder at EZG Manufacturing, you’ll play a key role in fabricating and assembling diverse range of metal structures and components for a variety of manufacturing projects. What You’ll Do:

• Perform various welding tasks, including MIG and TIG welding, according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding processes.
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal parts with precision.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and assembly.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and adjust machines to maintain consistent production.
• Maintain a high level of productivity by staying proactive, engaged, and focused on daily workflow.
• Follow all safety and manufacturing protocols.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5 years of welding and fabrication experience; welding certification preferred.
• Experience welding in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Skilled at working with a variety of materials, structures, and fabrication requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship.
• Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust machine controls with precision.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control techniques, and safety procedures.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to visualize and work with parts in different configurations.
