Belcan Corporation in Livonia, MI is seeking Entry Level Mechanics for our Contract Manufacturing operation. This role supports automotive projects ranging from off-road to electric vehicle assemblies, with immediate start and potential for advancement.

This full-time position offers on-site work on 2nd shift, training on day shift, competitive pay, and a benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) and PTO. Overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on assembly experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve.

This position is offering a pay range of $19 - $20/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. This position is located within our Contract Manufacturing Operation at our Livonia MI facility. Client's Contract Manufacturing provides assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off‑Road tactical military vehicles, Self driving / Autonomous vehicles & Electric vehicles just to name a few. These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis. Preferred Skills

• Candidates are encouraged to have a basic set of mechanic tools

Worker Instructions

• Candidates will need to interview during day shift.
• Hired contractors will be expected to train on day shift for two weeks before moving to 2nd shift.(6am - 2:30pm)
• 2nd shift hours will be 3:30pm - 12:00am (OT as needed)
• Special accommodations may be possible for some more experienced candidates if they are not able to train on 1st shift.
