Belcan Corporation in Livonia, MI is seeking an entry-level Assembler/Mechanic to join our contract manufacturing team. You will assemble parts for automotive projects, learn cutting-edge techniques, and support high-m tempo production with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent hands on assembly experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must have basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends when needed.

Work Hours: 6am - 2:30pm - (OT as needed)

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay range of $18 - $19/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Roush Contract Manufacturing provides assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, Self driving /Autonomous vehicles & Electric vehicles just to name a few.
