Responsibilities

  • Assemble small, high-precision metal and polymer firearm components according to strict specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and fixtures to complete line tasks.
  • Conduct detailed visual and dimensional quality inspections on finished parts to ensure zero defects.
  • Follow SOPs to maintain consistent production quality.
  • Identify and segregate non-conforming parts for review.
  • Keep accurate shift logs and production tracking documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with safety standards.

Job description

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented Assembler in Smyrna, GA. In this high-precision and safety-focused role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting high-quality firearm components for a world-renowned manufacturer.

In an Assembler job, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Assembling small, high-precision metal and polymer firearm components according to strict technical specifications.
  • Utilizing hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and specialized fixtures to complete line assembly tasks.
  • Conducting detailed visual and dimensional quality inspections on finished parts to ensure zero defects.
  • Following step-by-step standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent production quality.
  • Identifying and segregating non-conforming parts or sub-assemblies for review.
  • Keeping accurate shift logs and production tracking documentation.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and highly organized workstation in compliance with safety standards.
What you’ll need:
  • Proven prior experience as an Assembler or mechanical assembler in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to successfully clear a comprehensive clean background check.
  • Exceptional hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and fine motor skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow precise technical blueprints or work instructions.
  • Strong commitment to safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Dependable transportation and consistent shift punctuality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks efficiently.

    • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
    • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
