Job summary

Brunswick Corporation in Lebanon, Missouri, is seeking motivated individuals for Assembler, Welder or Fabricator roles within the Lowe Boats team. You will help assemble aluminum boats and sub-assemblies, either at bench, in a boat, or on the shop floor.

• Follow quality systems procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist in assembling aluminum boats and sub-assemblies on bench, in a boat, or on the shop floor.

As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, Welder or Fabricator you will assist in the assembly aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.

Essential Functions:

• Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, weld or other fasteners.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools, riveting machines, press break, plasma cutters to assist in assembly operation.
• Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.
• Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness
• Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

Working Conditions:

• May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area
• Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs.
• Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors daily.
• PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves
