Johnson Controls is seeking an Assembler to build high-quality air conditioning units in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. The role involves following blueprints, assembling subassemblies and final products, maintaining a clean work area, inspecting parts, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in manufacturing. Overtime and shift flexibility are expected in a non-climate-controlled setting.

Shift: Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Hours: 5:00 am to 5:30pm Pay: $17.00 + Shift Premium

What You'll Do

• Assemble air conditioning units using hand and power tools
• Follow blueprints and engineering drawings to build subassemblies and final products
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Inspect parts for defects and report issues
• Collaborate with your team to meet production goals
• Support continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes
• Use basic computer tools (Excel, Word) to track production and inventory
• Be flexible with overtime and shift changes as needed

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a noisy and dusty setting
• Preferred: Strong communication and teamwork skills

Hourly Hiring Range

$17 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
