Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Camden, Arkansas, is seeking a Sr. Assembler to build missile, rocket, and launcher systems supporting the U.S. military and allies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, specifications, and detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to lift to 30–50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment following procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly tasks on mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Operate automated equipment; conduct touch-up painting and related manufacturing processes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, specifications, work instructions, and production plans.
  • Use hand/power tools, jigs, fixtures, saws, and precision equipment to complete assemblies.
  • Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to meet specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test components per technical requirements.
  • Identify and report quality, process, safety, and production issues; help resolve them.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Follow procedures and own the production of high-quality work that supports the mission.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, drills, inspection tools, riveting tools, screwdrivers, power screwdrivers, ratchet wrenches, nut runners, crimpers, cable tools, and other manufacturing tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, specifications, and detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment while following established procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ability to lift to 30–50 pounds.
  • This position is located at a facility requiring special access and requires the selected candidate to be a U.S. citizen.

  • Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Understanding of mechanical assembly processes and production flow.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify issues, and determine appropriate next steps.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $32000.00 - $59400.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
