Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Assembler Programmer for remote work with NC talent preferred or within the geo-states (NC, SC, GA, TN, VA). The role focuses on supporting and developing mainframe applications using assembler programming and related technologies within a mainframe development team.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of mainframe development experience, proficiency in z/OS Assembler, CICS, JCL, MVS, VSAM, and strong COBOL skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding.
• Proficiency with z/os assembler programming, CICS, JCL, MVS, and VSAM.
• Strong COBOL skills and experience working with tapes and segmented data fields.
• Experience with mainframe change management tools and familiarity with FTP/SFTP protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop mainframe applications using assembler programming and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform system analysis, design, and coding for enterprise applications.

Pay Range:$60.00/hr
