Job summary

Aurora Technologies, Inc. in Pacific, MO is seeking an Assembly/Painter for our machine shop on 1st shift. The role involves assembling parts from blueprints, applying coatings, and ensuring quality finishes.

Overtime and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Starting pay is based on experience, from $18/hr and up, with a $500 sign-on bonus. 1st shift runs 7am–4pm, Monday through Friday; 2nd shift 3pm–1:30am, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Teamwork capability and basic math skills required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic calculations.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Experience with painting equipment is beneficial.
• Great attention to detail and ability to follow steps to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using blueprints.
• Install inserts to finished parts.
• Apply finishing touches such as deburring, stamping, painting, and gluing.
• Assist in packaging and building crates as needed.
• Maintain accurate stock and materials.

1st Shift is from 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday.

2nd Shift is from 3pm - 1:30am Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

Job Description:

• Assemble parts using blueprints
• Install inserts to finished parts
• Apply finishing touches such as deburring, stamping, painting, and gluing
• Assist in packaging and building crates as needed
• Maintain accurate stock
• Properly identify, mix, and apply various industrial coatings

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Have an understanding of how to work with a team
• Must possess basic computer operation skills
• Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure
• Some experience in manufacturing
• Some experience working with painting equipment
• Great attention to detail is a MUST
• Ability to meticulously follow steps and ensure quality

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours
• Ability to bend and squat
• Ability to pull/push up to 80 lbs.
