Job summary

Douglas Dynamics is seeking an Assembler/Packer to join our manufacturing team in the United States. You will perform bench and structural assembly, boxing and bagging for snowplow and ice-control products, operating packaging and conveyor equipment, and supporting 5S initiatives to ensure quality and efficiency.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within a leading equipment manufacturer.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic lean concepts.
Prior background in a manufacturing setting.
Product knowledge.
Organizational and research skills.
Ability to report daily production.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to perform basic math.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Follow job instructions, standards, regulations and quality checks to ensure product quality.
Perform bench and structural assembly, boxing and bagging operations for snowplow and ice-control products and accessories.
Set up and operate machinery and equipment including packaging machines and conveyors.
Unload and move parts using conveyors and material handling equipment.
Maintain safe working conditions and participate in 5S activities.
Participate in training, continuous improvement and team-based problem solving.
