Fontana is hiring for a warehouse associate in Frankfort/Indiana area. The role involves weighing and labeling packages, inspecting materials, and producing daily production targets.

You will work closely with the Quality Department to ensure material and product quality, while maintaining safety and organization in a distribution center. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stay on your feet for long periods, and operate typical warehouse tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and label packages.
• Inspect materials for damage.
• Produce daily schedule targets for productivity.
• Create labels for finished goods and production reporting.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Stage material to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate with Quality to verify material standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality.
• Perform machine changeovers and maintain lot integrity.
• Conduct routine tool and equipment maintenance and keep work area safe.
