Job summary

Fontana is hiring a Material Handler in Frankfort, IN. The role supports the Packaging Department, moving materials from receiving to production and shipments, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, loading/unloading, staging materials, and ensuring quality checks. Benefits include sign-on bonus, pay increases every 6 months, and comprehensive health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand up to 8+ hours and lift 70+ pounds.
• Math and computer skills required for daily tasks and data entry.
• Willing to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material safely.
• Load and unload products and supplies.
• Open and close dock doors and dock plates following all safety requirements.
• Stage material from receiving area to designated storage locations.
• Select and stage products for customer orders at the pack cells.
• Stage packed product from pack cells to the designated area.
• Place product on hold when necessary to designated hold area.
• Complete all job related quality, safety, and material checks.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
