Springs Window Fashions is seeking a Production Cutting Associate to support daily operations in the cutting area. You will prepare, measure, and cut fabric according to work orders, operate cutting machines, and help ensure production goals are met with careful attention to quality and safety.

The role requires basic math, reading work orders, and the ability to work with PPE in a fast-paced environment. Join a team dedicated to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months previous manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Weigh fabric materials and operate cutting machines according to work orders.
• Monitor quality, identify defects, and communicate issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow 5S and PPE requirements.
• Complete cutting sheets and records.

Job Description

Supports daily operations in the Production Cutting Area by performing assigned tasks such as preparing, measuring, and cutting fabric according to work orders. Operates cutting machines, weighs materials, and ensures production goals are met. Monitors quality, identifies defects, and communicates issues as needed. Maintains accurate records, completes cutting sheets, and keeps the work area clean and organized. Follows safety procedures, uses required PPE, and complies with company standards.

Shifts

5:30 am -2pm and OT before or after

Pay

$23 per hour

Job Duties

• Work with FRN, Visions IS, and use scale to weigh all fabric that we work with
• Work with both machines from cutting Area Eastman and Matic
• Keep machines running to Complete our Daily Goal
• Keep work area organized and neat
• Return all Fabric Material as needed
• Perform color changes according to work order
• Review the work material to ensure they are correct
• Continually watch for defects and alert the area Coordinator and QC
• Complete the Cutting sheet with the correct measurements when need to be inspect
• Work safely and wear all PPE
• Comply with our 5S standard

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months previous manufacturing experience preferred

• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, detail-oriented, have strong organizational skills and able to prioritize
• Must be able to work on their own or as part of a team

• Must maintain an excellent attendance record and attend all safety Meetings
• Must Be ready to be moved to other areas as we need

• Must know basic math and how to use a calculator and a computer accurately
• Comfort working in a Dynamic setting where temperature conditions may change with the season
• Must know how to use a Tape Measure

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to sit or/and stand or/and walk for 8 hour work shift
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend and work overhead
• Must wear all required PPE
