Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assemblerto join our manufacturing team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical components used in centrifugal compressors and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for working with their hands.
We are hiring for first [6A-2P] and second [2P-10P] shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform quality checks and inspections on assembled products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical or industrial fields is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
