Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

We are looking for a mechanical assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to:

1. Assemble, modify, wire, solder, and/or adjust instrument assemblies and subassemblies, which may or may not have complete documentation or detailed finalized design information.
2. Follow method sheet instructions as designed and adhere to material handling procedures to prevent part shortages.
3. Perform quality inspections as prescribed by method sheets and accurately pull customer spare parts orders, ensuring all ship dates are met.
4. Assemble kit assemblies as directed, and be responsible for packaging and shipping customer orders.
5. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by business conditions.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency and ability to solder.
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and use hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and demonstrate tube bending.
• Ability to test and demonstrate finished products using specialized instrumentation.
• Safety shoes and glasses are required.
• Overtime may be required periodically, both scheduled and unscheduled.
